Rockets vs. Warriors Game 5 thread: One game at a time

One game at a time.

Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports

One game at a time.

One game at a time.

One game at a time.

Has this mantra been beaten into your head enough yet?

The Rockets lost the first two games of this series in the hardest road arena in the NBA by a combined 5 points. Five. Yes, they still lost, but they have James Harden fresh off his latest Super Saiyan performance, a non-suspended Dwight Howard and the knowledge that they are undefeated when a loss could bounce them from the playoffs.

One cannot climb a mountain in a single leap. The Rockets couldn't win four games at once in Game 4 just like they can't win three games at once tonight. However, they won the last game. They can win tonight. Then, they would have a Game 6 in the Toyota Center to force the series to a Game 7, in which anything can happen.

Nothing can happen without a win tonight. There is no saving anything for a potential Game 6 and 7. Everything is on the line and the table. Because there's only one game to play. One game at a time.
