The two teams have not met in the playoffs since 2005 where Dallas edged Houston in seven games for the right to get steamrolled by the Phoenix Suns in the second round. The only leftovers from that series: Dirk Nowitzki and Devin Harris still remain in a Mavericks jersey while Jason Terry swapped allegiances.
